In the moonlit forest, the wood smoke in the sky marks the way to the clearing. Standing over her cauldron, she is there, dressed in black wearing a top hat & smoking a cigar. Dried herbs and bones lay all around as flames lick and caress the cauldron and the air. White chalk veve’s and ancient symbols are marked on the ground. The air is thick with the intoxicating scent of rich spices and smoke.
She knows why you’re here. Without a word she holds out something in her hand. You tentatively walk towards her and take a small jar from her hand, careful not to catch her gaze. ‘Use it wisely’ she says. In that moment, a raven flies overhead, and she is gone.
